This event follows the same swim and bike route as the Outlaw Original Triathlon. Your race finish time will be taken when you cross the timing mat as you return to transition after your bike leg. Once you have racked you can then walk, jog or run to the orange carpet for a Grandstand finish and collect your medal.

The 2.4-mile swim takes place in the Regatta lake at the National Water Sports Centre with the incredible spectacle that is a mass start. The swim is easy to navigate with an out and back course which exits close to transition.

112 miles
The 112-mile bike course takes you along are relatively flat route out into the Nottinghamshire countryside.

Our booking partner Let’s Do This provide an option to pay in instalments so that you can spread the cost of your booking (you can see their terms and conditions here). Please note that until your fee is paid in full, you will not be allowed to participate and you will not be able to access the relevant withdrawal options e.g. refunds, transfers or deferrals.

Race pack collection and racking will be on Saturday. Race packs will not be posted and there is no option to rack on Sunday. Photo ID will be required for all Race Pack Collection. Bikes must be stickered prior to racking and security wristbands must be worn at all times for access to Transition – including collecting your bike post race.

The start format will be a mass start. Wetsuits will be mandatory for the swim.

We want to support everyone to have a great race however race cut offs exist so that we can manage athlete safety, meet our commitments to the Venue, the Highways Agency and our team of volunteers and crew. Below are the expected cut offs for this event; showing time of day based on a 06:00 start. The times in brackets are the available time you have to complete each discipline based on hitting each cut off time:
