2026
The event runs in conjunction with the Outlaw Half Nottingham and follows the same swim and bike routes. Your race finish time will be taken when you cross the timing mat as you return to transition after your bike leg. Once you have racked you can then walk, jog or run to the orange carpet for a Grandstand finish and collect your medal.
Aquabike is ideal for those who want to challenge themselves and enjoy the Outlaw experience, but either don’t want to or find themselves unable to run.
// swim course

If you do not keep to the payment schedule, you will lose your place and your deposit.

Bikes must be stickered prior to racking and security wristbands must be worn at all times for access to Transition – including collecting your bike post race.

The start format will be time trial with swimmers being sent off the pontoons at short intervals. Start times are allocated based on submitted swim time. Individuals will receive their personal start time prior to the event. Wetsuits will be mandatory for the swim.

We want to support everyone to have a great race. However, race cut offs exist so that we can manage athlete safety, meet our commitments to the venue, the Highways Agency and our team of volunteers and crew. Always refer to the Final Race Information for the confirmed cut-off details. However, our expected cut-offs for this event are:
Swim & T1: 1 hour 20 minutes
Bike: 5 hours 20 minutes after your wave starts
Run: 9 hours after your wave starts.
There will be intermediary cut offs on the bike and run routes too.

Bike feed stations will offer HIGH5 bottles with either water or HIGH5 Energy Source, HIGH5 Energy Gels or Energy Gels with caffeine and bananas.

If you change your race plans, we offer a range of options for this race. We try to be flexible and supportive. However, event costs mean that we cannot offer these options indefinitely.
